Our Practice

Dr. George Contos grew up in New England and attended undergraduate college at UC Berkeley, majoring in physiology, Greek, Sanskrit, and Latin. He completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the School of Optometry at UC Berkeley.

As a comprehensive Doctor of Optometry, Dr. Contos is very knowledgeable about all types of contact lenses and is glaucoma certified. He has practiced in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years and loves interacting with all the Bay Area’s different kinds of people.

Dr. Contos has studied Spanish, both in school and during his extensive travels throughout Mexico and Central America. He has also taken introductory courses in Mandarin Chinese to help him communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients about their eye and vision care.

Dr. Contos enjoys reading books about science, culture, anthropology, health, medicine, and history. His greatest joy is celebrating life in the company of friends and family.

Sarah Kwok, OD is originally from the Los Angeles area. She received her undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) with a BS in human biology and a Doctorate of Optometry from the Western University of Health Sciences.

Her experience includes specialty contact lens fitting, vision therapy, and ocular disease management. Kwok is passionate about providing excellent care and is dedicated to improving her patients’ quality of life through having clear, comfortable vision and maintaining healthy eyes. She is also fluent in Chinese and English.

In her free time, Kwok enjoys pursuing her photography and videography hobbies.
